The Latin American Association of Development Finance Institutions (ALIDE) has opened registration for a new course which addresses the complete process of issuing thematic bonds, from the identification of the financing need to the preparation of final reports, highlighting the key role of development banks in the expansion of this market in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

The agenda consists of five modules:

• Sustainable finance.

• Instruments and initiatives in sustainable finance, introduction to thematic bonds.

• Green, social, sustainable, blue, SLB and other bonds, and stakeholders.

• Critical path for the thematic bonds issuance, and taxonomies.

• Perspectives of thematic bonds for the world and LAC.

The course is oriented to finance, investment banking, planning, strategy, commercial and other areas of development banks, commercial banks, finance companies, microfinance institutions, insurance companies, leasing companies, pension funds, investment funds, securitization companies, brokerage firms, cooperatives, non-governmental organizations, and investment companies; cooperatives, non-governmental organizations and non-financial companies; officials of central banks, superintendencies of central banks, superintendencies of banks, insurance and other regulatory and supervisory agencies; analysts, academics and consultants supervision; analysts, academics and consultants in general.
