Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA), has published a report covering green, social and sustainable bonds issuances in the Argentinean market, from its launch in 2019 to the present. The total amount of labelled debt in the 2019-2022 period exceeds 1,100 million dollars, achieving a record in the number of issuances in year 2022.

During 2022, 17 green, social and sustainable bonds were issued, including 3 sustainability-linked bonds (SLBs) issuances. There were a cumulative of 38 negotiable securities from 21 issuers in the 2019-2022 period. The companies with the largest number of issuances are Genneia (6 issuances), SION (4 issuances), Luz de Tres Picos (4 issuances), Sumatoria (4 issuances), among others.

Another relevant milestone for 2022 has been the incorporation of the Sustainability-Linked Bond Panel into the Argentine market, which already has 2 issuances from the company Red Surcos and one from San Miguel.

Finally, there is a wide variety of instruments among placements, led by negotiable obligations with almost 50% of the issuances, followed by simplified regimes for SMEs (36% summing up its guaranteed and simple variants).
