IDB launches “Amazonia Forever” program to boost coordination for the region

The program seeks to expand financing, share strategic knowledge for decision makers, and improve regional coordination to accelerate the sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development of the Amazon region (including Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru and Suriname).

French AFD grants financing for 99 million dollars to Mexican CFE for the first phase of a photovoltaic plant

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) of Mexico has received financing from the French Development Agency (AFD) for the first phase of the Puerto Peñasco Photovoltaic Power Plant, to be located in the State of Sonora, with an installed capacity of 120 MW of renewable energy generation.

The Government of Barbados has announced a coalition to Increase Investments in Sustainability

The coalition of multilateral banks and organizations aims to develop resilient infrastructure and to drive new social and nature capital investments, building on its Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The integrated package of innovative initiatives aims to accelerate Barbados’ transition to net zero.

4th edition of the Finance in Common Summit
